As you may see it in the Wongs winch features. All Wongs winches feature "Bi-directional Electromagnetic Braking System (BE Braker)". Which is an automatic braking system built inside the winch motor. So, it doesn't heat the drum up. It is different with winches that breaks are built in the drum.

Firstly, it is an electromagnetic braking system, so it doesn't provide heat while powering in and out, but the traditional mechanical break does.
Secondly, it is built in the winch motor, not the drum, so there isn't a break in the winch drum, there isn't any heat generated, which will melt the synthetic rope.

With Wongs winches, you don't have to worry about the expensive synthetic winch rope to be melted by the winch drum heat.
